The Poetry Society was founded in 1909 and celebrates its Centenary in 2009. Our celebrations will focus on three elements – the past, the present and the future.

Please join us now by collecting your thoughts about the Poetry Society from whatever decade you happen to know it best. Send your recollections, impressions, thoughts to us via post or e-mail at the address to the right, clearly marked 'Centenary'.

Love the idea and want to help further? We are happy to accept donations towards our centenary year activities, and we will need volunteer help as well, so please keep in touch so we can work with you during 2009.
